Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Still raining here, very fine rain and lots of mist. I can't see the forest.

Mr WD is outside shoveling gravel we had delivered onto a hard standing area for my car and no classic I'm not going out there even though its my car.

Salut. Did my last invigilating this morning for this term.
My brother and his wife are arriving at Manchester airport tomorrow afternoon so guess where I will be going?
I have asked him to bring a couple of bottles of Muscat or Pineau des Charentes aperitif as it is hard to get overhere and cost a fortune but he can't have it before he goes through security as it will be confiscated so I hope he will be able to find some at the airport shop although I very much doubt it.
I have booked a table at a French restaurant in Chester for Monday too.

I am out of touch with rules for flying now, but, could he not have carried it in checked in (hold) baggage?

I remember when I smashed my collar bone and was just about to be put under to get it fixed, the surgeon was concerned at my heart rate being so low but the anaesthetist, who was a keen cyclist assured him that it was just because I cycled a lot and was fit. Sadly, not as fit these days, but I see from my Garmin it did drop to 39 last night, so still not too bad.

Riverside trail walked and just having a big bowl of raspberries with Greek yoghurt for breakfast. I never used to like raspberries but my taste seems to have changed and quite enjoy them now.

I usually hit a low of 44 through the night. I have a similar story from hospital. After my heart attack I was on a bed in a cubicle in A&E. I'd been there for an hour or so when a doctor asked if I usually have a low HR. It was down to 45. I said yes and explained my cycling. Her response was basically that's OK but we can't treat you as we normally do because your HR is so low!
