Just been told I am having rump steak with sweet potato** for lunch (with various sides I've never heard of).
**I have never eaten sweet potato.

Sweet potatos are all right with salads ect roasted, not had them for a while.

:hello:Morning, crappy nights sleep, kept on thinking about that man that died in the next block
I didn't know him very well we just said hello morning ect.
The last time I saw him was on the Tuesday so he could have been dead for 2-3 days before, not too sure if he had any family.

Often crosses my mind if I could end up the same one day.

I've got myself a ribeye steak for my tea tonight. I'll have it with a jacket potato and salad.
Ps. I like sweet potato, you can chip them, mash them or have them roasted. Very nice for a change.

Good morning from a wild and wooly Oban. We arrived on Wednesday after one of the quietest drives I can recall. From Loch Lomond through to Oban we hardly saw a car in front of us.............there seemed to be quite a few behind though?????? 🤣

We've walked, visited a couple of museums, idled around and chatting. A good meal out at the Kilchrenan Inn

Tonight we are off to Port Appin to eat at the Pier House

Is it as gusty over there as it is here? Probably even stronger on the west coast.

On Thursday we visited the beautiful Deirdre and Naiose Sheiling which was conceived and built to a design by my great friend Sam. His lovely now departed wife said to him "You have to leave a mark on the landscape or no one will ever know we were here."

The Sheiling looks out over Loch Etive, a place shrouded in myth and mysterious tales.

There's a really popular Bike Night held every Tuesday night on Poole Quay. Loads of customized bikes and people having a really good time. I was tempted to pop down on my blinged up CHPT3 Brommie but I don't have a leather jacket 😉
Took this when we visited friends in Poole last year - quite a few bikes parked there. Right by the "free if you have a parrot" ferry.

That's the trouble living on your own, the worse one, guy died in the bath, not found for 3 weeks !!!
I found my neighbour dead, on 1st Janaury, last seen on Christmas day.
I keep in touch with my sister by phone, but some times two weeks can go by between calls.

It is a problem
My friend found his Aunt at the bottom of the stairs once
she had been there for about 3 days - she fell down and couldn;t get up
teh phone was on a shelf by the front door but it was too high for her to get to

AT the time he was working in Birmingham - he would ring up every day or so but she heard the hone and couldn;t reach it
Initially he assumed she was out or something
but after a few tries he just jumped in the car and went there and found her

after that he resigned from his job and got a job as a lecturer in Liverpool so he could live "at home" and keep an eye on her

But other people don;t have anyone that could do something like that

anotehr fried was a copper and came across several situation where some had died a while ago and no-one knew!
