Interesting name, I wonder what the history of it is/was?

Found something.

Dead Woman's Ditch is the name of an ancient monument in the Quantock Hills of Somerset, England, and is associated with the legend of Jane Walford, who was murdered there in 1789. The site is a cross-dyke, an earthwork likely of prehistoric origin, but it gained notoriety due to the tragic story of Jane's murder by her husband, John Walford. While the name predates the murder, the connection to the event has cemented its place in local folklore.

I'm impressed by the Met and their cutting edge technology. They're years ahead of anyone else.
