Busy day today up to Northampton to have breakfast with a mate of mine, then home got it reasonably ship shape and shiny as we are having a few valuations tomorrow as we are thinking about possibly moving.

BBQ Chinese pork for supper.

Just wondering if Accy has car problems 🤔

An hour, or so, this afternoon spent fabricating and repairing some tools.
Firstly, I set about repairing a bearing puller that I broke on my Montesa trials bike some time ago.
Next up was to make a fork installation tool for BSA's. I already had the threaded blocks, which I'd found in my 'box of bits' last week.
Both simple cutting, grinding and welding jobs, but satisfying nonetheless.

Every time you make these posts I'm filled with admiration. I can't begin to have the idea let alone know how to start the project. 👏👏

Good morning. I woke at 2.30. Proper awake with the brain working etc. I was absolutely nackered last night and really should be asleep. I'm going to tidy round before heading back to bed in the hope of grabbing another 2 - 3 hours.

This morning I'm going to a talk on cyber security, then a funeral at 1.30 and late this afternoon a GP appointment. My chest clicks!!! In the RTC I broke five ribs on the left side. If I sit in a certain position I can feel a rhythmic click in time with my breathing. I'm sure it's the now healed ribs but want it checked out.

TV. Another recommendation for Dept Q. On Nextflix I recently enjoyed Northshore and I'm currently watching a rerun of Lochness on Netflix. It was originally broadcast by ITV in 2017. I've forgotten much of it though Mrs P keeps reminding me "you've seen this before."

Good morning from an overcast Dorset. Have to wait in today as Paul the Postie will be collecting my toothbrush to go for repair 🤔
It's a Philips unit that I purchased last November and now has a " sticky " on / off button. I can't actually see them repairing it as it seems to be ultrasonically welded together, I'm sure they will just bin it and send out a new one, but having to go through the returns process probably dissuades a lot of people and they just fork out for a new one.
I'll head out for a run soon, only 7 weeks to the Kelpies Half Marathon, must start training 😁

Hello the house...
A good sleep enjoyed. Woke several times but managed to drift off again.
I have done 95% of my paper shredding. Just have some "stuff" that I need to hang onto but am not sure where to file it......it can't go under 'B' for Bin.
Need a couple of things from Aldi but can last a few days eg cordial. I am drinking a lot of various liquids eg milk but cordial is No 1. Will decide when I am properly awake.
Also........I might get a walk in when the temp' warms up.

I watch so much stuff that I think my brain must get full and empty some out  I’ve been rewatching some old NCIS lately and don’t remember them well enough that it spoils it to watch again.

I enjoyed Dept Q and Northshore and you have just reminded me that I intended to watch Loch Ness. Better do it before it disappears.

It’s a dry but cool and breezy start here. Just having my mug of decaf before heading out.
