A day off gardening to visit Cowes to see some yachts, mooch the streets, drink a beer or three and get the bus back 😎
We finished binging The Detectorists - missed it first time round, a very gentle and enjoyable show 👍

Been out for my walk. Pleased as I did some 30% further than usual. Took me 1 hour and it's lovely and fresh out there.

On my morning walk I came across some roe deer hiding in the bushes, such encounters always cheer me up.

Going down to the canal later to walk Bruce, andnthen a nice relaxing lunch in the van.

I had noodles to put me on and am now about to have shepherds pie.

We had a bacon joint, peas, roast potatoes and a white sauce. I'm not keen on white sauces, never have been.

And I've just had a bit of mango and papaya yoghurt

MrsP was dropped off at the station ,

The downstairs has been vacuumed and the dog has been out for another short walk.

Therefore you did the white sauce.
But you don't like white sauce .

Well....my 20 year old Honda CRV has finally bit the dust.
Failed it's MOT on corrosion amongst a couple of other things. I've had it over 6 years and it's been the best car I've ever owned. Loved it!
I'm going to look at a nice low mileage Freelander 2 tomorrow morning.
Might buy that and get the CRV repaired and sold on privately. Who knows...

Meanwhile, specially for @PaulSB , today's little job was to make up a press arbor plate out of some 8mm mild steel.
