Something I have never tried.
I do know someone that reckons he used to do it as a party piece.

When I was at college there was a Welsh guy by the name of Davies, I think, who did it on a regularly

Home alone this week, did a smidgin of work this morning and then had a very pleasant afternoon up at Gaydon.

Gunk junior is off soon to play 5 a side, chicken pie in the oven, and soon have my feet up in front of the telly.

Coooeeeee. What a change from last week. Its dark, it's cold. 12 deg. Summer is def over.

Good Morning. Absolutely lashing down. Bouncing off the ground, down spouts can be heard flooding down in to the drains.....................all I wanted was my butts filling and a gentle rain to bed in the lettuce, brocolli and kale I planted last night.

AWOL yesterday as it was our u3a Summer Celebration so an early start for me. It's a get together for as many members as wish to come. People had the chance to try out walking tennis, croquet, crown green bowls and pickleball. Our ukulele and hand chimes groups performed, buffet lunch provided and everyone had a great time, lots of chat and getting to meet new folk. As the lead organiser this was a massive relief. I like to be very organised, the rest have sort of "it'll be alright on the night" attitude....................it was all right on the night.

Mrs P and I are away to Northumberland for a few days. It's her birthday on Saturday and a seaside break seems a good plan. We chose Amble because it was the first good and available Airbnb we found......................plenty of good fishy places to eat as well. The plan is to set off early (yeah!) and visit Vindolanda on our way up to the north-east

Good morning everyone.
A rainy start to the day here.
Today MrsP and myself are helping our daughter move house. She has sold her flat and is moving into a small house which fortunately is only a couple of miles away so it won't take long. Our son and his partner are also coming to help, so with the Son-in-law there will be 6 of us, many hands and all that.

Morning again. Walked for 3.5 miles then switched to jogging for the last 3.5. Even although it is just 11 degrees, I still found it too warm.

Salut. Going to buy a new washing machine this morning and then some DIY at one of our daughter's. Her husband is absolutely useless at it. He wouldn't know how to use a screwdriver. He only uses a hammer if he has to smash something.
