Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Blimey what a difference. The sky darkened, thunder rumbled then hailstones rained upon us. I thought the apocalypse was coming

A bit of a spooky sky when I popped outside to top up the Hedgehog food last night.

Tired this morning, had to pick the girls from St Pancras last night and because of the Tube strike London was absolutely insane. But nice to have them back after their week in Amsterdam, Miss D stayed here and has gone back home this morning.

Worked for a couple of hours this morning, should have done more but didn’t really have the motivation. Pumped up the tyres on my Brompton and popped out for a coffee. Cleaned my motorcycle this afternoon which was filthy after last weeks rain, we are still on a hosepipe ban here so used my Ryobi power washer and fed it off a bucket, it worked a treat.

Also sprayed the weeks on the drive, now about done in, so when Mrs G gets back from Waitrose, we’ll have a cup of tea and watch some telly, just started that rather far fetched “Hostage” series on Netflix.

Not again!

4 or 5 says a week! Sometimes for Sunday dinner

Less than a mile up the road, dog friendly, inexpensive, nice atmos. Mrs D reckons she's struggle to cook, a Sunday roast for what it costs to simply buy one, and we dont have to load the dishwasher.

Just got back from a ride

Nice sunny ride out

then the rain was racing me back from Warrington
caught me up just as I got home so I raced into the shed and sorted th ebike out in there rather than the garden

did get a bit wet but not much

started raining properly by the time I had locked the bike up

good job I got round to mowing the lawn this morning!
