Top tip for beans on toast, after buttering toast spread thinly according to taste with Marmite. Beans on top then grated cheese. Liberal application of HP brown sauce.
Hits the spot a treat.

Can definitely vouch for that....yummy.
I guess there will be the odd weirdo that doesn't fancy it for some strange reason
PS, I like brown sauce but wouldn't put it on that as it will fight with the Marmite.

I have no clue why someone who seems (?) otherwise perfectly normal and sensible
would want to spoil good beans by putting rotting solidified milk all over it!!!

Ketchup is a whole different story!!

Just got back from a ride

first for 2 weeks but managed the normal loop but about 10 minutes less than normal
no clue why - horrible head wind on the way back!!!

did manage it without falling to the temptation of upping the motor assist - but did change gear and up the cadence

Then got home to find an email from Age UK asking me to do a little talk about the NHS app at a "digital Event" in a few weeks at their place in St Helens

mutter mutter

better do it I suppose
I mean - I used to manage a class of bottom set 14 year olds and actually teach them something

how difficult can a bunch of "old people" be!!!

(he said looking worryingly towards Warrington!!!)

I've been eyeing some sloe berries on my daily walk for a while. Today I picked enough to mix with a litre of gin. Should be nice for Christmas.

Frau Fritz put four tomato plants in her garden this past spring. I just went out and hauled in about ten pounds of tomatoes from the silly things… for the fourth time! There is still at least 20 pounds out there ripening. We have so many sauced, stewed and diced tomatoes in the freezer down stairs I bet we’re good for a year. I’m going to have to buy a juicer next.
