10/10 for the choice of photo to accompany an article about the Bank of England warning about potential consequences of the AI bubble when it inevitably pops. 😁

Ah well, just when I thought I'd reached a conclusion. The Bicycle Lounge visit has thrown up five possible bikes. One, Pinarello X7, I have discounted as it has integrated bars. The issue with these is if I want to make changes in the years ahead we're talking big £££££££.

To my surprise the recommendation is a Cervelo Caledonia 5 with the statement this will give you everything you love about your current Cervelo and more! Sounds like the bike for me.

Sad news. Our post mistress is retiring and the PO will close. This is a real loss to the community. Aside from the postal services the nearest access to an ATM will be +/- 5 miles to Chorley. This bothers a lot of folk though not me.

The newsagents will close at the same time. No more physical paper delivery available.

The new world order.

And you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin

Perhaps 10 days later, I still have headaches (although not as bad now). My sinuses are blocked, it blooming stinks and tastes awful when I try to clear it. Currently on Sudafed. Just took my BP, all fairly normal.
Its occured to me, thank heavens I'm retired , you can just work through it and not have that extra layer of concern anout performing properly or physical effort.
