It must be an epidemic!. I ordered a hearing aid from an outfit called iHearMore, for Mrs @BoldonLad. Order confirmation said next delivery for UK. Item dispatched 1st October, still not here 9th October! It appears to be stuck in Yodel's system (I use that term loosely). What is laughingly called iHearMore's cucumber services are no help. I will NOT be using them again, that is for sure.

I'll have you know that for a while I worked on the computer that controlled a couple of the Yodal warehouses!!!


so - basically - the problem is that they made me redundant
and stopped using that computer system due to Y2K!!!


see - I I was in charge of everything all would be well!
(and I would get the Nobel Peace Prize!!!!)

Our local Dunelmn burnt down a few months aho... MrsPete was bereft!!

For me........
Dunhelm = once a year(ish).
IKEA = once in a lifetime.

TBF Sue got me in there a couple of times, maybe 5+ years ago for wine glasses.....and they were good quality, once we found our way to them.
Oh, I recall thier meatballs being nice.

Cancelled Mondays docs appointment for my annual liver check. It could well be the vid that I have and if im still icky on Monday the doc won't be happy with me spreading my germs. Re scheduled for a few weeks hence.

My apple cake was nice, but something was missing
so I had another slice........I forgot to put the cinnamon in.
Well I've still got three more apples so have another go.

Could you not just sprinkle a little cinnamon on top of the cake?

Not seen any here.
On tv last night it was saying that we will be getting massive swarms of them.
They also said there is nothing we can do about them.
