It's pouring down at the moment, it seems to be keeping the trick or treaters at home thank goodness.
A good afternoon was had at the bell, the choice of ales was very good.

Back in Poshshire.

It rained a lot at night in the peaks but it was cosy in the van.

Managed a ride this afternoon

passed the "Dinky Cafe Boat" on teh way out so I did an "out and then back teh same way" ride
and thought I better do my bit for the local community on the way back and stop for a cuppa and some cake
they always have some cake on that I can actually eat
I discovered it was chocolate cake today and I might have expressed my love for the woman who made it
her husband nearly fell out of his car laughing!!

anyway - shortly after I got going again it started raining

not too bad but I was wet when I got home - and teh bike was covered in mud
there were several times when a huge clod of muddy stuff got jammed in the mudguards and spat out after some rubbing and grinding
so I hosed it all down at home

if it isn;t raining tomorrow I will clean it properly and re-oil the chain

Oh and Scouse for tea as it is officially winter now!
