Interesting thing happened yesterday

I saw a quote someone said someone has said - on Reddit

I went off to Google to see if it was true - because Reddit is about as reliable as "The Other Place"

and the AI thing on the Goodle search came back
but its fist source of information was clearly the very Reddit post that I started with

which clearly showed that Reddit is one of the sources that AI uses to get its results together

which makes the AI bit of Google about as reliable as a Taxi driver when it comes to checking things out!!
"Well I had this bloke in the back of the cab the other day who heard in the pub that xxxx said that......"

sort of thing

Artificial Intelligence is just a very good way of searching the whole WWW
including all the bits that are full of total and complete garbage
and then summarising the whole thing

Additonal thought

I am sure I am not the only person who has noticed this

Hence, if you want to influence the opinion of a lot of people if you flood all the rubbish areas of the WWW
using the sources the AI on Google uses as a guide of where to do it
then you could make a lot of people believe what you want them to believe the facts are

which would be a "good" tactic to consider when the next election comes round

Well, the need for more sleep won the battle and another hour has been grabbed.
Time to do battle with the bedding.
Talking to my friend yesterday it was obvious that he struggles with the duvet as well.
My domestic experience with women is (fortunately) limited but the only 3 ie Sue, my daughter and my cleaner have no such problems..... is it a skill that women are born with and men are doomed to merely envy ??

I am far better at duvets than my wife
I basically just start with the cover inside out and the duvet folded neatly in half on the bed
then feed it on a bit at a time

I prefer to do them myself rather then "help"
it is quicker and easier!!!

Just looked outside and it looks like a great day to NOT go for a ride!

i.e. windy and rainy

did manage to get out yesterday - paths up the canal (oo er missus!) were covered in wet leaves on the tarmac
which was a bit worrying at times as my tyres are more designed for roads than paths
but all was well and I had a little chat with another cyclist at my turning point in Moore
were shared experiences of local cafe's and coffee shops - as you do

anywa - not today!

Just had a wander up to the Co-op. I discovered really nice smoothies that I like. They seem to have decent ingredients with no artificial nasties. I'm hoping a glass of that for a nice sweet taste will stop me going up and coming back with cakes, biscuits, chocolate, etc. Currently have a small glass of the dark red one just now. It's very thick though so I could probably water it down a bit. They are expensive.....normally over £4 per bottle but the green and red ones are reduced to £3 at the moment so I'm back with 10 bottles.

Basically how i do it apart from "folding in half"........I assume you mean long ways eg turn right over left ?

No I put it on the bed
and fold the top down to the bottom
then put the inside-out open end of the cover onto the top bit and pull it up a bit at a time on each side
then when I get to the fold
I flip the bottom up (stop sniggering at the back!!! - honestly!)
and then pull the cover down the rest of the way

I think

I just lay the duvet cover out, get hold of one corner of the duvet and put it in the corner of the cover. Do the same with the other corner, the pull the cover over the duvet until it is in position.

Just seen the head lines in the Echo

Apparently all football games on council owned grass pitches are cancelled due to the weather

Wish the person who decided that was in charge of Rugby practice when I was at school

We used to play no matter what
at time we were choosing to start at the shallow end or deep end instead on the road end or field end as normal

and then carry wet kit home in our bags (plus homework) - which in my case was a 20 minute walk to the bus station
(OK I could have got the Number 6 bus - but I always walked - it avoided the other kids including the ones from the girl's school who were lethal with hockey sticks and lacrosse weapons

Day before yesterday I got a phone call saying I could have my minor operation in a couple of weeks time
which is a relief
but for which I had to contact AgeUK and tell them that I would not be able to do a visit to some sheltered accommodation including a presentation and stuff
and yesterday I got a phone call saying my pre-op will be next week
which involved contacting AgeuK again and cancelled 2 appointment with clients
and one meeting with a "manager"

and I have just seen the News about a hospital doctors' strike
which could change all the dates!

I'm so glad I switched to lightweight coverless duvets a few years ago. Washes and dries quickly and just throw it back on the bed. No wrestling involved!

But do you not have to wash the whole duvet every week ?
And what TOG duvet do you have, mine is 9.5.
