But do you not have to wash the whole duvet every week ?
And what TOG duvet do you have, mine is 9.5.

It's just a 4.5 so lightweight. Maybe I am not very hygienic compared to you but afraid I let it go for up to a month.

I need a step to do the duvet. I put the two corners into the corners of the cover. Hold it on the outside, as high as I can, that's what the steps for and shake it. Then put the bottom two corners into the open end and give it another shake, job done. If I wasn't so short I could do it without the step.

I have been googling "coverless duvets" and various suppliers recommend 1-2 months (unless you are particularly sweaty).

I have decided on sausage and egg on toast butty. Sausages are nearly cooked (I always overdo them slightly just to 'make sure').
