We have reached the dizzying heights of -3 now.
Molly is managing to sit on the storage heater. Her arse must be on fire as I turned it up last night.

😼I have discovered that the App associated my car allows me to switch the heater/demisters on, from your phone. So, on mornings like this morning, when I go for the weekly shop, at 07:00am, and the car is covered in frost/snow, I switch on the heater/demister remotely when I get our of bed, and, it is all nicely cleared by the time I have got dressed etc. The wonders of Technology.
Morning changed the bedding put it in the machine, and put my winter quilt on 9.5 tog.
Anyone else not received confirmation they will be getting the winter fuel allowance yet? I thought I would have heard by now.
We've both had a letter, £100 each. I imagine it's £200 per household? Mrs P will have to repay hers as she has a state pension and NHS pension. I only have the state pension plus a bit of SERPS so may not have to. I don't really know.
You only need to pay it back if your individual income is over £35000.
Sorry to be picky, but, I think that MAY be "taxable income"?
So, if I am right, income from ISAs, or untaxed interest are not counted.
Don't tell Rachel, please 😊
For some reason I had it in my head the income cap was per household. With a bit of thought it's obvious that would be very difficult to administer. You only need to pay it back if your individual income is over £35000.
I had just assumed that members would know it was taxable income - my mistake. Sorry.
