Good morning. It's very still and there has been a frost but it doesn't feel too chilly. A bright day, warm in the sun I guess. One of my buddies is heading off to explore a gravel route to Stockport.....I'm envious. A crap sleep last night, nodded off at 11.00pm and woke at 3.00am. I feel truly horrible now. A busy day beckons; u3a committee meeting at 09.30, Family Group meeting with my lad's care providers at lunchtime and Rovers this evening. There should be a two hour gap between the two meetings, with luck I'll get a nap, if not I must get one this afternoon.

I felt very hungry so I've just finished a three egg cheese and ham omelette. That's usually an evening meal, I often have a plain two egg omelette for breakfast but this morning I went for it!!!!

Good morning from a sunny frosty Dorset. Fox on the prowl in the garden overnight and hedgehog is still housekeeping with the fresh barley straw I put out. Had a bit of a brainwave to use straw to pack around Christmas presents. Minus 3 earlier but toasty warm inside. I decided to run an experiment over the winter, heating went on on 1st October and set to 21 degrees running 24/7 with a setback to 20 degrees between 10pm and 6am. Will leave it like that until 31March and see how " low and slow " works for us.

Morning all.
As with many places it's cold at -1° here but supposed to warm up and rain later.
When i was doing serious mileage i would fill up before the budget but now it matters little in the grand scheme of things.
I have it from a good source that Chorley Paul has stocked up on chain lube before tax goes up.
A few domestics to do then off for pub lunch at 1200.
