A night out with friends at a Nepali restaurant in Ashley Cross* area of Poole last night. I'm not used to eating late and woke up just after midnight with acid reflux so took myself off downstairs to find some Gaviscon. Picked up a book and ended dozing in the chair until the early hours.
* Ashley Cross, now rebranded as " Ashley Cross Village " by the locals. A lively place with a small green area that now has a Boules court. On the main Bus routes between Poole and that upstart area known as " Bournemouth ". Bournemouth's main claim to notoriety is its Town Council's plans to assimilate the surrounding historic towns of Poole and Christchurch to further extend it's web of corruption and double dealing. It's already won one accolated, being awarded the prestigious title of " Britains Most Corrupt Council " by Private Eye magazine.

Bearing in mind that Milton Keynes has the notorious Mr Drago on it then Bournmouth have done well to win that award.

Not actually raining but it's forecast. Phew, good news that as thought we were going to miss out...

Exercise of one form or another, turbo or weights. Washing is on which will need hanging in utlity due to weather.

@classii hope you are OK after last night's shock. There was a time when young people respected the older generation.
Had my coffee. Next is a shower. Then at 10.00 we are off to the funeral. My family and I are then going to the pub for lunch. No idea if the nieces etc have any sort of buffet planned but there are certain among them I have no wish to be with.

Technically, no. Occasional visitors who are not let unsupervised at any time with children or vulnerable people dont need the CRB check.
