Good morning, dank and horrid here. I have a busy day ahead but looking forward to my cards group this afternoon. We play Canasta or Bridge. It's often tricky making up tables of four so I keep myself as a floater. I'm a decent Canasta player and the Bridge people tolerate me from time to time - it's the bidding that flummuxouses me - great word that flummox!!!!

I got a call to the bank of mum and dad last night. A withdrawal has been requested. Heading over for a chat this evening on budgeting! Good thing I ordered the bike in the afternoon

If youre grabbed round the neck its always fun smacking their elbow from below to bend it in a direction nature never intended.

This is, of course, all last resort welf defence stuff. Not recommended for use on young children or in the bedroom!

Another good, quick defense is a smack on both ears with the palm of your hands.

Or a solid chop where the neck meets the shoulder,.effectively disables the arm.
