Good morning all.
It's a bit cool and damp outside at the moment. Rain is forecast for later on.
Today we are off to the pantomime 'Snow White' at the London Palladium for the matinee show at 1pm. MrsP does like going to panto's.

Coooeeee. 8 deg here. I am expecting the bin to be here most days for the next 2 weeks as he is on holiday. My food bill will be going up.

The family went for a pub meal after the funeral on Thursday. Its one of those BOGOF meal pubs (but very nice) so my grandson age 25/26 had 2 meals to himself.
Ahhh them were the days eh.

Morning all. Was awake at 6 for a pee break but got back to sleep for 90 minutes. Just enjoying a coffee and think I will have a 2nd.

Never ceases to amaze me for such a small country how varied it is. Its raining here but set to clear up soon a reach °double figures.

Family life restricts me at the moment but I'm hoping 2026 will bring me back up to the level I want. An RTC in June '24 basically finished the year. In 2025 I've got back to 3160 miles, stamina and endurance regained, climbing still slow. My target for 2026 is 5000 miles and 200,000 feet. When I can't ride I have gym routines specifically designed for me to address the post RTC issues and build strength.

Happy Solstice Day to you all.
Today I shall be celebrating with a roast turkey lunch and real ale at the Railway Inn.

Good morning folks, gusty squalls of rain see3m to be the order of the day. We have three busy days ahead. #1SP arrives at lunchtime for a sleepover. She wants to go the park today. Monday we have #1 and #2. We will take them swimming, then to a local garden centre with an excellent light display and then lunch. Hopefully a quiet afternoon but more likely is a park. Those two go home Monday evening and #3 arrives on Tuesday morning! Phew!

I have sad news. Mrs P's cancer markers have risen from undetectable to 3, 4 and now 8. There are, to quote, "very subtle" changes in the liver which "may" indicate her treatment is no longer effective. A scan in six weeks will reveal more. When the consultant said perhaps three months, if you're "lucky" next autumn, I thought he was referring to how much longer the treatment might be effective. Over the last few days I've begun to wonder if he meant something else. I'm not so sure today.
