There is a Magpie wandering the back garden
It has a leaf stuck onto the claw on its left foot

I keep wanting to go out and help it remove the leaf - it has to be annoying!!!

it is annoying me just watching it walk around!

Just sorted out my bloody printer again, it has to be connected to the internet
becauce I have ReadyPrint (ink subscription) and keeps losing the connection
yet my computer is fine, and then the bloody thing has an app that tells me
can't find the product ****** and Epson support (there in India) are like a
chocolate teapot.............NO they are worse
I would buy another printer, but this on is less than a year old, it may not be the printer
it's self it may be a wifi problem, but the router is sat right next to the dam thing so it shouldn't
be that, anyway it's working now so fingers crossed.

I thought I was only allowed to do that if my Father was head of the evil empire??

ANyway - I like having the birds around - although at the moment it is mostly crows and Magpies

I like having birds around.....but not feckin seagulls on my roof. Bloody noisy belligerent things.

We gave up on printers last year. Too much aggro.

Got fed up with having to buy colour cartridges that gum up as you have to have colour cartridges to print in black these days. Epson; crap.

We print something maybe once or twice a year and use one of the print shops in town instead.

I gave up on colour printers many years ago

I got a cheap B&W laser printer and it has been going fr year now
Had to change the toner once - after several years of use - and in spite of the first ones being "less filled" that the replacements

If we need something in colour, we can get it done at the library or a shop on the High Street - that has happened once in about 10 years!

Although when I got it I was working and had access to 3 excellent colour laser printers so at that point I could just print it at work if I needed to!
Ink jet printers at work were always a pain
some of the more expensive ones were OK as they were designed to last and would either use some ink every few hours to clear the jets
or had integral jets in the cartridge so when you change them you changed everything

but no matter what they always got blocked
and teachers were terrible for "storing them safely in the cupboard" over the summer and wondering why they had dried up in September

Just got back from a ride

It was one of those should I/ shouldn;t I things as the Met Office said It would not rain
BBC weather said it would

Windy (weather radar) suggested I would be OK so I went

anyway - went to the Dream (looks like a knob from the M62 for those that have seen it) which involves more hills that I normally do
anyway - with the coldish weather I had to stop after a while and take some Ventalin as my breathing was getting shallow

OK after that

Until I got to the REALLY steep bit leading up to the knob artwork - it is pretty steep and you hit it after a turn so you don;t have much monentum

anyway - I got up but then started to feel sick and short of breath
which is why I got an ebike to start with - just put it into Turbo mode and I could spin it gentally up the rest and the next steep bit while I recovered

SO I got there and stopped for a snack and a drink

anyway - another ride done - and I didn;t get off and walk - sort of
