I'm shocked, very shocked on two counts. I went to Aldi today. A bit earlier I said to Mrs P

"I was in Aldi today and saw the ultimate convenience food"

"Oh, what was it?"

I told her.

"I often buy those. They're quite handy. You know, when you want something but don't want a sandwich"

Gobsmacked doesn't cover it......

We gave up on printers last year. Too much aggro.

Got fed up with having to buy colour cartridges that gum up as you have to have colour cartridges to print in black these days. Epson; crap.

We print something maybe once or twice a year and use one of the print shops in town instead.
A weeks worth of ink at one time.

Took the picture as it was easier show them the picture, than try and explain that printer "ink plans" were useless.

I wouldn't have a TV in the house; let alone the bedroom.

My parents wouldn’t have a TV in the house and it was a thoroughly miserable childhood, in 1976 my Father finally caved in and bought a brand new Sony 13” portable telly, our life was then complete!

I love watching TV, don’t feel the need to have one in every room, but I just like relaxing, feet up and watching a decent drama.

Not made from actual tanks though! But disappointing at first.

A lifetime career in tech, & the one thing that remained constant was bloody printers causing grief 🤷‍♂️
Whether it was spider port ones at the Council, network ones or directly connected ones, the buggers could be relied on to always screw up at the least convenient time 🤣

Hey ho. A pickleball “match” tomorrow with another club, should be fun!
& yet another 6-2 score line at The Masters (snooker for the uninitiated). SIX matches so far, & ALL of them ended 6-2. Wouldn’t have minded a tenner on that 🤣

Especially when you live on your own. Not sure I could survive without my telly.

Talking of surviving, looking out at the roads and pavements and reading posts on our local page confirms that it is a sheet of ice out there so I won’t be risking an early walk.
