Good morning. It's a beautiful day in Lancashire, sadly I can't ride. Mrs P is at her treatment, I've just got home from Tesco, coffee and a sit down.

Heading to the gym and then to see my PT this afternoon. I need to think of something for tea as the last thing Mrs P will want to do tonight is cook.

Walk done and just finished a plate of scrambled eggs with mushrooms. That’s probably the excitement for the day.

We had scrambled eggs on toast, topped with smoked salmon for brickie.
We have been researching flights to Costa Rico for December this year. MrsP wants to go to the rain forest wildlife watching. She has found a company that does what she wants to do.
Spending the kids inheritance. 😁

Salut.
Nice day here and I tested my eyesight this morning and pleased to report I can do the 20 metres reading of a number plate regulation so I will be able to drive again tomorrow.
The kitchen fitter is doing well and hope to have it finished on Tuesday. He will be working all day tomorrow but have Monday off as he has a Doctor's appointment.
I will ba glad to have the house back although I am very well looked after by stepson and DiL.

You gotta love cyclists. All the chat is about TDF - Chorley is very excited. So the chat has moved on. Reform swept to power on LCC about 18 months ago - a huge swing. That sets the scene.

It's going like this. Who pays for the roads? Is it TDF? No, it'll be LCC Highways. But LCC is Reform, they hate cyclists. But LCC may not exist by then. Why? Local government reorganisation. Oh! That's why those Labour lot on Chorley BC have cancelled the May elections. They're scared. No, they haven't decided yet.........and so it goes on and on and on..........I'm just watching........politics and cycling don't mix. 🤣

Morning, I'm up early as I'm having my window fixed this morning the slide/hinge broke.

So Mr fix-it came and found out he had ordered the wrong size
so he's got to come back again
