I remember it and I despised it. The Sex Pistols were filth. I've seen enough of it even if I don't "really get" what it's about. Rebellion was some of it, if not all of it. And what would moving to Florida have to do with it?

The fact you despised it, would at the time made it all the better to me.

Some great news today, my son finally passed his driving test, he failed twice here in Oxford. He’s at Leeds university so took some lessons up there and passed.

I googled -

The "no meat" rule in Christianity, particularly regarding Fridays and the season of Lent, is primarily a
tradition of the Church rather than a direct command found in the Bible. While rooted in the remembrance of Jesus Christ's sacrifice on a Friday, the specific, binding, and widespread rule to abstain from meat is a, often misunderstood, practice of religious observance, primarily within the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and some Protestant traditions.
When I make a blognese I only use a small amount of paste as the "meat" is the main meal which in my case was minced beef
onions , tomatoes, and red peppers and herbs ect

Thanks.
Still avoiding bringing religion into it, I find it interesting. So many religious rules/beliefs are based on tradition and dogma as against the Bible.
Each to his own though imo

They were crap. They were very happy to make a lot of money from the very system they pretended to despise.
I liked nearly every track on never mind the bollocks, still listen to the odd track whilst working out/Zwifting etc.
In other news we went and looked in on our Caravan in storage. Mice have got in again, nothing chewed just mice poop in a few places. Removed all the cushions etc and brought home.
daughter rang with lots of good news.
She enjoyed her first week of placement with paramedics ( she is doing a paramedics masters, change of career)
Her ex boyfriend has got a job in another town and is finally leaving her house!.
She is going to Nigeria again to train some of the troops in a few months. ( Army Reserve ,Medics)
Then in July she is going on a MTB trek with the Army reserve, through somewhere in South Africa.
I am off to do a hour on the Turbo, only a light session as I had another AFIB event last week. May listen to some Sex Pistols or I may not

Thanks.

As you ask questions, I ask them too, but never get an answer
I heard this the other day -

O Lord, hear my prayer,
O Lord, hear my prayer;
when I call answer me.............

13 year old grand daughter looked at it and rolled her eyes!

then said "are you ACTUALLY going to wear that in public???"

we had to go to the doctor's the next afternoon and took the 3 of them with us

she sat on the back row in case she saw someone she knew - her friends are all on other side of Merseyside - plus a bit
but she wasn;t going to take a chance!!!

Congratulations to him!

My eldest grandson is 17 in two weeks time, and, about to start to learn to drive. I have coughed up for his first 10 lessons... bloody expensive!

I did similar with my granddaughter. She had 12 lessons and was apparently doing well........then she just stopped.
My son has just never been interested in driving.
