Listened to a couple of really informative " Sliced Bread " podcasts today. I nearly didn't bother with the episode on " Standing Desks " but so glad I did as it got me questioning some of my preconceptions on posture. I probably spend too much time in front of the laptop screen, my Garmin watch will buzz a reminder to " Move! " if I've been sitting on my arse for more than an hour, but after a while I tend to ignore the reminders. The Prof suggested setting a mechanical kitchen type timer as you are far more likely to get up to go and turn the thing off 😁
The second was on Kefir and the claims made around that ( bottom line - good )

Although I exercise, I also sit way too long in between. Not ideal for someone who has had lumbar disc and sciatic problems.

I quite like the kefir drinks and you can get kefir yoghurts too.

Well worth a listen then Mo as there was specific information about the lumbar area.
 
I'm going to another meeting about our wheelie bin area
just hope they have something to offer that suits everybody.
Good meeting and everybodys happy, now it has to go to the planning department........
my bet it won't be this year :rolleyes:
