Grey and damp on the riverside. The beavers have been busy and felled a small tree across the river over night. If I open the window at night I can hear the chomping on wood but don't want to frighten them with a torch beam.

Just before I headed out for a run I was thinking "blimey it's chilly in here although the thermostat read 20 degrees, Got back after 3/4 of an hour and thought " blimey, it's really warm in here " with the thermostat still reading 20 degrees.

Might have mentioned this but out interest, my daughter does lasagna with turkey mince and it's very nice. Not suggesting you should do that.

We use quorn mince for that….it’s all about the flavours, & quorn mince has a great texture with no “grisly“ or fatty bits 🤷‍♂️
