A 20 yr old cyclist killed at 05:45 in Northampton this morning in 'a collision between a truck & a lorry' near the railway station.. ☹️

Afternoon folks a neighbour gave me a lift to a garden centre today so made an impulse buy of a black current bush and havent a clue where it might fit in I couldve browsed happily for ages and spent loads of money...good job i recalled that my long suffering neighbour was waiting in the car...ooops!
A riding day tomorrow hooray! grey n cloudy but could be worse.

Out of the blue my Doctor has prescribed Statins for me, no consultation or any problem flagged.
I see from the old thread that there are mixed feelings on it.
I have come this far without them and dont think I'll be rushing to take them

@Dave7 I've been on statins for a couple of months now as I couldn't get my cholesterol down with diet alone. No side effects at all. I'll have a blood test next month to see if anything is different.
Obviously, it's your choice to take them ir not but I'd have thought a bit of info from Daktari should be forthcoming before prescribing them (or anything, actually!
