Morning all :hello:

Another sunny day.
Things to do: Put bins out, cut lawns, walk pup, go out on BSA, finish off stuff in workshop.
Not necessarily in that order.

Good morning all.
A chilly start to the day here, the CH has kicked in, and it is set really low, 15⁰.
Anyone see the meteor shower last night? I did see some when looking towards the east, they looked like tiny stars in the sky but moving quickly across the sky heading north. On the scale of excitement it was well down.
I have a telephone appointment with the practitioner pharmacist at the doctors to discuss my recent blood tests and health check. Shouldn't last long.
MrsP has found a lot of scrap gold jewellery so she is going to take it to a jewellers and try to get a good price for it.🤔
We will then go to a local farm shop and café for lunch. :hungry:
Enjoy your day everyone :cuppa:

Morning.
Another beautful one on the cards. Slightly less windy as well supposedly.
Task for today is make a start on external woodwork of house, sanding, cleaning and restaining windows, fascia boards etc. Big house, lots of wood so it usually takes around 10 days all in. I'm not going to bust a gut, I'll do a few hours this morning then relax/exercise later. The joys of retirement.

I noticed a hint of frost on the roof of the extension yesterday. Heating is still on and will leave it on until 1st May, switched it on on 1st October so that will give me a whole number of months to analyse 🤔

Good morning from a chilly and sunny Dorset. Mrs Tkk was on the waiting list and has just had a text saying there's a spot available on this mornings Pilates class. She has a Dental appointment later, her Dentist is retiring and she will get to meet the new Dentist today. I will visit a friend later, he took a tumble at Llanfoist Crossing parkrun on Saturday. Unfortunately he broke his shoulder / upper arm and had to spend the night in Hospital. A very painful injury.
The Hedgehogs remain active, unfortunately a very large rat has appeared and is brave enough to enter the hedgehog feeding station. I don't want to feed and encourage rats, but I do want to feed the hedgehogs so it's a bit of a dilemma. I will investigate humane rat traps and relocate the rat if I do manage to trap it.

Note to self: phone will charge up quicker if I actually turn the socket on.. 🤷‍♂️

No shift Sherlock!

Good morning from gloriously sunny Lancashire where there is also a bitingly cold wind. I hung the washing out a few minutes ago. Freezing! I may have said good morning already, I have risen from the couch after perhaps 30-40 minutes sleep. That should keep me going.

Today will be an allotment day despite the cold wind, loads of stuff to do. First a Bit of admin, ironing and then breakfast. I'm very hungry after yesterday's cycling, as a treat I'll have scrambled eggs, roasted tomatoes from the freezer, bacon, mushrooms and toast........................I NEED coffee and we're out of milk. I've Whatsapped our row group hoping someone will come up with the goods
