A thunderstorm in the distance ( or they're doing live firing at Lulworth ranges ) 🤔. Camera picked up a large rat in the back garden. We weren't too fussed as it was hanging limp from the jaws of the neighbourhood cat who has adopted us. He traversed the bottom of the garden and disappeared into next door with his trophy.

A senior moment,
I travelled all the way to Wimbledon, about an hour, two changes of trains. Got to the pub and waited, then checked my phone for messages, and the meet up is tomorrow. Doh.🙄

Mentioned this before but my side and back garden are surrounded by a brook (called black brook for some reason) and we get the occasional rat which i dont mind if they know thier place. I get lots of the neighbours cats in the garden and that annoys me but they probably control the rats.

Now contemplating a protein shake.

I have also dozed, nay, slept solid for over 2 hours. I was up early and had a good brunch so getting ready to eat again. I think it will be ham (as I stupidly left it out of the fridge) with chips and egg.

Thunder and lightning here at the moment with heavy rain showers.
I have ordered another rain butt which should be delivered on Thursday. This will allow me to save 420ltrs of rain water.
