A thunderstorm in the distance ( or they're doing live firing at Lulworth ranges ) 🤔. Camera picked up a large rat in the back garden. We weren't too fussed as it was hanging limp from the jaws of the neighbourhood cat who has adopted us. He traversed the bottom of the garden and disappeared into next door with his trophy.

Mentioned this before but my side and back garden are surrounded by a brook (called black brook for some reason) and we get the occasional rat which i dont mind if they know thier place. I get lots of the neighbours cats in the garden and that annoys me but they probably control the rats.

Walked to and from the parish meeting. Not raining, but incredibly humid. I reckon a big bout of chunder and blunder is coming.

I've bagged two rats recently with my CP2.
Got a big telescopic sight on it now along with a red dot marker.
