Good morning all.
Like Mr Numbnuts i have been awake for ages.
One for @ebikerwidnes. The government are trying to recruit x number of teachers. How do you fancy going back to teaching a class of hormonal teenagers ?

It has occurred to me


I gave it some thought and there are a few possibilities

a) No f*****G chance

and


b) absolutely no damn chance at all

If circumstance were different I might take a job as part time IT technician in a school

especially the one where my grand-daughter goes - if only for the amazingly good chance of being embarrassing in front of her friends

but teaching

nah - been there done that - it is not as easy as it looks!!!!

Well the day started OK

Had an appointment with an AgeUK client at 10:30

turned out to be a bit of a problem

left about quarter to 3 - supposed to be a one hour thing!


then got home to the news that the dishwasher was not working - error coce F01
which means the "flood detector" at the bottom had shut the things down due to a suspected flood

turned out it was working

but the "manual" was a very basic user guide
and the website basically said "ring up and we will come out and fix it - don;t ask how much it will be"


anyway - after a lot of faffing about I managed to dismantled the bottom of it
and all the bottom was flooded (ooh err missus!!!)


and it was still leaking from somewhere

anyway - looking at the price of a new one - compared to probable price of fixing it
and if we fix it we have a fixed 12 year old dishwasher with other parts the same age as the broken one - whichever that one is
I could see me spending the next 2 weeks taking bits off and replacing them only to find I needed another one
and getting an "expert" to do it would cost about the same as a new dishwasher!!!


so we decided to get a new one

but I have a question

This washing of dishes???

I forget - is it a Man's job or a Woman's?????


and are there any volunteers to explain this to my wife???

They are probably sitting by the side looking at the lolly ice and drooling!!!


(yes - lolly ice - those of us with a civilised upbringing have to try to educate the less fortunate ones in society)
