5 mile slow wander done. Around the riverside trail loop then a loop through the park. The sky is turning a funny colour now and it's very humid.
The females in the town must be made of strong stuff. I met 3 runners, all women. They all looked a tad warm!

We live in a village with four rows of terraced cottages. Our dog would walk up to a front/back door, any door, bark, the door would open, he would then walk straight through to the front/back door and bark to be let out................lazy bugger. This was regular, not a one off.

Good morning. A cool sea breeze and mist is rolling in. It still feels sticky and humid but much cooler. I slept very badly last night, the first time for a month or so. I woke about 2.30 bathed in sweat and finally got up at 4.30. I had two bottles of cider last night, first alcohol for a week or so. I do wonder if this is the cause.
We're leaving Plymouth this morning and heading to Wells to visit the cathedral, then on to Wokey Hole. We have two nights booked at a spa hotel near Cheddar Gorge. A/C, gym, sauna, pool etc. all at Mrs P's request. Driving home on Sunday.
A nice surprise this morning. I booked flights to Nice in early May to attend a 70th birthday party. We didn't go and as the flights couldn't be cancelled I moved then to late October thinking I'd decide what to do nearer the time. If one takes the EasyJet "Flex" option at the time of booking the flights can be moved once without charge. The Flex option costs £10 for the whole booking. Anyway EasyJet has cancelled the October flight and we have been offered a full refund along with other options. What a result!
