Just received the news that a fellow parish councillor has passed away today. He went for a nap and drifted away, which probably isnt the worst way to go.

A bit stunned. Of all the parish councillors he was the most welcoming to me and we got on well, probably because we shared the same warped sense of humour. I last spoke to him Saturday, and he complained of feeling a little under the weather but had put it down to the heat.

Sorry to hear that @Drago I've had a friend in past this happened to years back. Left work early feeling a bit rubbish and died later that day. Sad news, raise a glass and make the most of every day.

My buddy said he had a nice 60 mile route to Cheshire from his place. It's a ten mile ride for me to meet him. That should have been 80 total. He misled me. It was a 72 mile route, I finished the day with 92 miles. Tired!

We had coffee in Alderley Edge, home of many PL footballers. The BLT was magnificent. The best I've ever tasted.

but at least they are testing it and doing something about it!

Apparently I may have to go on a drip for iron once a month soon

while I was away I got an email for a telephone appointment next week to discuss my blood tests

only one that seems dodgy is iron

so I think they want to discuss drips and stuff!!

Just avoid Alderly Edge at weekends. Full of boy racers or super cars making a terrible racket. If I pas I go through the back streets.
