there’s also a new series starting tonight on Channel 5 called The Crow Girl that sounds promising too
I just finished watching that last night, and I'm tempted to complain to Ofcom. It's the second series I've seen in as many weeks that gets to the end of last episode and then says "To Be Continued" (I Jack Wright was the previous one), only this time, if you want to see the rest of the story you have to pay for a subscription to Paramount+. It's like getting to the end of book and finding someone's ripped the last page out, or going to the cinema and having them switch the projector off half way through the film and tell you if you want to see the rest of it you'll have to come back and buy another ticket next week.

Next time I watch a series I'll check the credits at the end of the last episode before I start.

Right... who is going to own up!!!
Who's nicked my sock ?
I bought 2 pair of ankle socks last week, good padded walking type at £8.00.
Just washed and dried everything and there is a sock missing  .
Had a torch in the washer and tumble drier. Checked the washing basket.....no sign.
Why couldn't it be an old one ? I've only worn them once

Filling was done and all ok just got to be careful eating for a few days.

Got a good Nigel Slater book of quick (ish) recipes and already seen a few that we can do, good thing about his recipes is that it's easy to adjust and use different things.

Also BH picked up a book when I was at the dentist about Psychadelic music, it doesn't stop at the sixties and has a lot of different styles and movements including Krautrock, prog and 90's shoe gazer ; also has bits in it about hip-hop and acid house, might go to the top of the increasing pile of charity shop books to read that is currently at 18! Not including the Michael Hutchinson one I'm currently reading.

Got my 2 mile walk in but it was boring** and hard work in that heat. Google tells me there is a 2 mile circular walk of 1.8 miles. I couldn't find it. I asked 4 different 'walkers' and they didnt know of it. **So I ended up going along a path then having to retrace my steps.
I have found a "friend's of" group and messaged them so maybe that will help.

Quick fire way for the missing sock to turn up. Throw away the sock you have, the other one will then turn up with an hour or so 😂

Met my friend for our walk into Poole, instead of my regular route we headed off in the opposite direction, something I had not done since my running days. I passed the entrance to Davis's Boat Yard which brought back memories of my working days. The owner liked to dabble, and whenever we had a call we knew he'd tried to fix something himself to save a few bob and effed it up. Of course when we turned up he'd deny all knowledge, and say " it shouldn't take you long, plus there's a boat waiting to go in the water ". The annoying thing was he was a nice bloke and full of bonhomie, we'd fix things and tell him it would have been cheaper if he'd called us straight away but he never learned.
Thought we'd got the timing wrong as the Twin Sails bridge was up, but as we approached it started lowering and the barrier went up just as we reached it so we didn't even break stride.
Limoncello café was wonderful I treated myself to a custard croissant with jam and got a Fagottino to take home for Mrs Tkk.

Medication.
For years I have only taken 1 which is for acid reflux.
After my hospital 'visit' they gave me some more to take 3 per day.
Anyway I get medication delivered by "Click Chemist"......I phone them, tell them I need a repeat prescription. This morning I phoned for a repeat of the new tablets. Just had a knock on the door......its Click delivering them. Cant do better than that can you.
