first of the blackened grass on the cliff/slope from Hale lighthouse (disused) down to the beach where there was a fire that was put out

second was from tonight and some "people" having a bonfire on the shore - which has a lot fo grass all over it

I reckon that when we came down from the trees we should have been more selective about the ones were allowed to come with us

Good morning from a mild grey Dorset. Daughter and grandson are travelling down from Leeds later and staying with us for ten days😎 I will be making my " Signature " dish of Macaroni cheese and I will knock up a focaccia too.
Just ran the numbers and July was the best month for Solar since install 3 years ago, almost 1MW from 5.25kWp of panels☀️
Planning to visit the new Barking Cat Tap room at lunchtime as it officially opened this weekend 🍺

Another sunny day here, you temperature around 27⁰
The cricket yesterday was not as good as it could of been. 2 very low scoring matches which for some reason this year quite a few of the teams, men and women are not scoring very highly throughout the competition.
All the usual things to do today.

Off out to the Bossington dog show, held near Porlock, this morning - lots of Whippets & Lurchers expected. We'll only stay a short time, as it's Boo's first time at an event like this.
Moving on to the Railway Inn for lunch.

Morning. I was up at 5, fed Molly, had a glass of water then out the door by ten past.

10.2 mile peaceful wander done. It was really quite nippy when I set off but warmed up once the sun came up.
