A battery lasts me at least a couple of weeks but tbh i dont need it all the time.
I have been told that is the wrong thing to do so I'm going to try wearing it all day.

I was told that if you wear them all day every day then your brain adjusts to hear better using the "new sound levels"

Especially as I have some tinnitus (apparently the constant whining isn;t my wife - who knew!)

so now that I hve better "outside sound" the n my brain has adjusted to ignore the tinnitus more

there have certainly been some things on the ads on here from Temu that I am wondering whether it is a shopping site or an "acceptable" front page for a porn mag!!!!

I always think that if I don`t know what it is, at least I won`t be forking out for it and furthermore, I don`t need it.

Good morning. The forecast is 90% rain and 12-15mph winds. We have clear skies, sun and no breeze. My bike is sat in the yard waiting for me. I can hear her purring with delight in anticipation of the ride that is ahead of us. Anthropomorphism rules. OK.

We did have more rain. 8-10mm again. The growers will be delighted. This is the golden level of rain, gentle, over a prolonged period so every drop is captured and soaks in to the soil. Good news.

Right. I'm off. I need to get my kit on, fill bottles, prepare snacks. It's a great route today into the Ribble Valley, the one downside is a really slow guy is joining us. This is a problem. If we don't announce we're riding we look mean and anti-social. If we do we get someone turn up who simply isn't up to the ride. I suspect we won't wait as we're all sick to death of it. The older we get...................

That's the reason I never ride in a group as I don't want to hold anybody back so I ride solo and don't bother anyone.
