I have. And very nice it was too.
Home made I hope?
We had shepherds pie with mangetout .
No, no. Shepherd's Pie is with peas or beans
I am cooking a 1970's favourite.
Chicken Chassuer. Which is basically chicken, shallots, mushrooms in a white wine sauce. That will be served with green beans, and sautéed potatoes. Yum yum.

Haven't had that in years................I'm now hungry
I love sautèed potatoes.

YEP! Absolutely. Mrs P is cooking tonight, Sunday tea often includes sauteed potatoes

Gravy, I saw mention of gravy and Bisto. Not in the same sentence please, or even forum for that matter! I need to help with this. Gravy is onion gravy, there is no substitute. Slice onions, warm some oil, put the onions in and spinkle with sugar. Once caramelised, TBSP of flour, add a very good glug of red wine, I mean a VERY good glug, simmer till it begins to thicken then add beef stock, about 500 ml.

Sausage, mash, onion gravy........................you will thank me.....................many times over

Flat peas!
Is there nothing they won't do to food these days. I mean putting them through rollers to flatten them.
Or did they just let a bit of air out?

Clearly not tubeless.................

It's cold out, heavy rain forecast from midnight, then 0⁰ dropping to -1⁰ by 11.00am. It's going to be lethal tomorrow round here. Ride ideas shelved, again and I've made an appointment with Specsavers. I' ve banked up the stove and am now doing a virtual "try on" of glasses on the Specsavers website. It's very clever!
