Left for the walk a bit early and popped in for a haircut. The barbershop had a “ greatest hits “ radio station playing in the background so I listened to “ It’s a Sin “ by the Pet Shop Boys and “ Harvest for the World “ while I was having my locks trimmed. Post walk enjoyed a pint of “ She sells Sea Shells” before diving in to the bakers for a fruit scone ( jam first variety )
I may have dozed off for a moment or two after lunch…

My car failed miserably. The back axle is badly corroded, the brakes need doing and a lot of bolts are corroded as well. The cost would be around £2,000 all in.

I have to have a good think about it. The car is 12 years old, so to spend £2,00 on it is a big cost. If I could get another couple of years out of it before having to buy a new car it might be worth it.

I shall have a think.

Lot of money for an "older" car as you say. Big decision.

Still waiting to hear about mine....its a 65 plate. Last year it needed a new exhaust so hope all is good this year
