I have just been munching on bread sticks with hummus.
Problem with hummus is a short shelf life...... but it is tasty. This one was red pepper.

Big day today - OK not so big but anyway

We are swapping to Sky after 9 years on Virgin - due to costs

and today we are due to get a parcel contain something or other from Sky

due to be delivered between 9:13 and 11:13

?????

strangely specific start and finish times for a 2 hour gap
hope they are on time because we have to leave to get to pick the baby up from 'the other gran' by 1 then kid sit until their Mum gets back from work

Oh - and apparently I need a blood test

due to being rejected by blood donation place - again

while I was on the phone I checked where my wife is up to getting a face-to-face appointment with the GP

looks like they don;t even have a record of the previous appointment (witha Nurse Practitioner) happening
which is rather dodgy
but as I am not the patient she will have to chase it up herself I think
which is annoying

A pleasant run this morning followed by a great breakfast at our B+B. We're off to Nottingham on the bus soon, wandering around and a pub or two🍺🍺

Just had a call from the garage.
Their exhaust testing machine is broken, so they cannot MOT it. Now booked in for monday afternoon.

Hi been busy cooked breakfast and washed up did the ironing, put another load in the machine, done me weight training and been for a walk and eaten lunch............. Phew I need a lie down now

Tried out the new Vax carpet cleaner in the front room.
Only had it on a light wash setting and it worked very well.
Plenty of muck sucked up, and all the main stains have gone. Very easy to use, so I will do the hall and the stairs another day.
Looks like I have got myself a regular job every couple of months.😂

I've got a Vax it's a few years old now, but still brings to carpets up like new

Over time it will save an awful lot of money instead of paying cleaning firms to come in.

Change of plan. The bread must be at the bottom of the freezer, so as the pizza and fries were at the top, pizza and fries it is.
