Good ride today but what a headwind. My app says the longest headwind, that is time riding into it, was 2 hours 22 minutes. Anyway another 74 miles in the bag and form slowly returning.
Ever been had? My pads were squealing, well screaming, for much of the ride. Damp, new pads. At some lights we chatted about this. "WD40 will solve that" says my 'friend' "Stops most things squeaking." For a few seconds, perhaps 10-15, I was going home to spray WD40 on my pads..........then it dawned on me.

I watched all of The Gold a few nights ago and enjoyed it. Better is on BBC1 too. Available on iplayer.

Good morning people, it promises to be a tad busy today, the nice people from the council are here to rearrange our front path later to make it a bit more wheelchair friendly, the materials were delivered yesterday, and we're out to lunch then down the club this afternoon.Good morning Peeps.
Uncle Ernie has been kind again this month.
4x £25, and 1 x £100. A nice Brucie bonus.
MrsP also got £100.😁
Our son also got £75😁
I washed the car yesterday afternoon and gave it a checkover in readiness for its MOT today.
Today looks like being a good dog walking day, so I plan a long walk, probably no bike riding today.

Car's going in to the garage for a brake service today. I've a sneaky feeling the front pads are a bit low, and as I'll be up and down Porlock Hill and Countisbury Hill a few times in the coming weeks, I thought it best to have them done.

BTW Paul, I see Tyler Morton got good ratings in the match.
Have seen both Better which is very good, and I'm up to date with gold which is also very good.
We are also watching something called The Twelve. An Australian program about a jury on a murder case. It's on ITV X. It's not bad, but the advert breaks seem to be thrown in randomly, and quite often there are no adverts so the program just starts back up. Obviously not many advertisers for this particular program.

I got up at 0700 convinced it was Saturday. Took 5-10 minutes to realise.
