Morning all

Been a good week. Contracts exchanged, 4 wins on the PBs, mates coming over for Sunday lunch and.......I've had a Lotto win!
Oh...and it's my wedding anniversary today - 43 years. I forgot all about it.
Fortunately, MrsD forgot as well.
It's a sign, I tell ya.......a sign!

Coooooeeeeee. Cold but dry and calm here.

There was a new series on BBC2 last night called Paris Police 1905. A bit quirky but quite good. There were 2 episodes. I doubt Mo will take to it as I know she isn't keen on things with subtitles.

Confession time. With this fatigue I keep falling asleep.
1st half I thought Sheffield will win (even though you were one up).
2nd half you did well.
Was the young LFC player not on the pitch??

It’s about the same period since what I would call a real cold Excuse this bit the discharge from my nasal passages was was not like the thick gunge you get usually with a head

I cannot watch a prog with subtitles.....just don't enjoy them.

I donr mind them at all. On 4 more, they have a chanel called Walter and most of the series are forgign and subtitled. They have some great series, better than a lot of English ones

Went out for a meal with the Grandkids and their Dad (Mum was not well) for my birthday last night

managed to leave all the present behind so I will have to go back and pick them up in a bit
did manage to finish off the last bottle of the red wine I bought to drink at Christmas when we got back!!

I also have to check and watch anything 'important' that we have recorded on the Virgin Media box - changing to Sky tomorrow!!!

apart from that not much happening today - might manage a ride this afternoon

Tyler Morton was on the bench yesterday. We have six players competing for three midfield spots and the manager makes changes depending on form and the opposition. He's doing a good job of showing players when they have an opportunity they should grab it. Buckley and Travis lost their places through injury, suspension and form. Both got chances to return and yesterday put in very mature performances. Morton has been below par recently and on the bench for league games while playing in the Cup.

I used not to but increasingly find I have to. Any programme with strong regional accents, especially American, I find very difficult to hear as I get older.

Good morning. Forecast for the last 48 hours has been for a bad start to the day, even snow and ice. I abandoned all cycling plans and opted to go walking with friends. Its 5⁰ and quite bright........the Met Office is off my Christmas card list! 🤣

So, yes heading out for a 6-7 miler with friends we haven't managed to see for several months. A pub is included. I'll get my gear on shortly and then spend the hour I have spare submitting my appeal against the late filing penalty I received..........I'll make 'em work for this cash if I have to pay it.
