Looks chilly outside but not as cold as expected. We're meeting #1 son's partner's father for the first time today. I think it's just a meet not a precursor to anything else. So that's lunch at a nice pub in the Ribble Valley.
Friends round for supper and cards last night and I'm feeling delicate which I need to shake off before lunchtime. A quick tidy round then out for an hours walk should fix it.
Does anyone else find this about alcohol? Last night over four hours I had one G&T and two small glasses of red - four shared one bottle. As I get older I find anything more than a single drink sometimes leaves me feeling a bit shite the next day. I need to remember this!!!

Sadly I suspect that its not a case of will France beat England but by how much.
but if England do manage to beat them it will be a sign of how much they've improved.

Boiler update. Lois our boiler lady turned up shortly before 10:00. She took the covers off and did her diagnostis. The spark ignition was shorting out on the holder. A quick clean up and adjustment and all was well.
Cost for a Saturday morning call out and rectification? She only wanted a fiver but I gave her £10 👍😎
