I'm up and sort of awake
no idea why - but I was awake at about 6 after a weird dream
won't go into details as it was too bizarre

but anyway - builders back in today - hopefully they will be finished within 2-3 days as they mostly just have the units to fit in the bathrooms plus a few finishing bits in the places they have almost finished

will be VERY relieved when they are finally done and we get the house back
especially when we have a downstairs look back!!! - living with only one toilet - and that being upstairs - has been weird - funny what you get used to!!!

Hi to you all. Retired back in March, have started walking and short cycle rides to try and keep fit. Cannot get out of habit of getting up at silly o’clock. Finding it difficult to get into a daily routine. Hope you don’t mind me joining your group.

Morning all :hello:

Looks like a wet one today. :rain:
Off to the tip this morning to dump a load of cardboard. Dropping MrsD off at the hairdressers on the way. Will pop back later to pick her up and take her out for lunch.
Expecting a couple of deliveries later.

I've never used a pressure washer, just a normal bucket of soapy water, a brush and a hose pipe to rinse down.
There are various views on the use of pressure washers on bikes.

I have heard bad things about the water getting into places it shouldn;t

As far as getting basic mud and stuff off I find the hosepipe on its own is just fine - does depend on how set and sticky the mud id I suppose

Train, Cycle, Train trip or maybe Train, Cycle, Cycle if the weather is OK.
If it's the latter then have to include a bike wash at the end.
Anyone else use a pressure washer on their bikes?

Might have a problem getting that past the Director of Finance.

Might be good for the camper, though
