I've just impulse brought three Agapanthus 'Black Buddhist on line, bare root plants, its a bit late in the year for bare root but they were half price, I don't normally buy plants online but I couldn't resist these, I just need to find a spot for them.

I have gone into a cleaning frenzy, well as



much frenzy as I can muster, which isnt much i have to admit.

I took a break and went up to the pond to see how much of an improvement if any it has made to the pond putting that outrageously expensive powder that is supposed to clear all the sludge from the bottom. Early days yet, but the pond is looking really good.

The bluebells are out as well and the orchard is looking good to.

Must take some looking after. 😎

It does. We have about 5 1/2 acres. Behind the pond is a very large field that we just leave. Lots of trees have seeded themselves and we just cut the grass a couple of times a year. There is also a steam that runs down and across the front of the property and a smaller field across from that. We don't do anything with them, we just leave them.

The orchard only needs to have the grass cut, and Mr WD spends lot of time tending to the pond. Good job he has a ride on mower. 😆

Alness parkrun this morning. Lovely group of people, very scenic route. It's an out and back course, and the turn around point is at the end of a pier where a young lad dressed as a traffic cone was handing out bags of maltesers😎 Fresh melon and orange segments at the finish line❤️ They had erected a washing line with pegs and coat hangers for people to leave their bags / jackets 😎😎❤️❤️
