I've been listening to a series on Radio 4 called Lady Killers. Lucy Worsley, the historian looks back at Victorian murders committed by women. They are very good programs.
They are all on the BBCsounds site.
I will catch up with a few more of them tonight.

I have that ap on my phone. Might just have a listen while I'm in my workroom.

There was a TV series on the same subject called 'Wicked Women' around the late '60s /early '70s. As I recall, Billie Whitelaw and a young Nicola Padgett played two of the historical characters.

Here the sun finally came out about quarter to four, having watched the Moto GP sprint race I spent the rest of the afternoon out in the garden.

I've just had the letter from the Pension Service confirming my state Pension weekly amount.
After fifty one years graft in twenty four jobs and deferring taking my pension 'til I was 70 last week, the amount has made it worth the effort - !

I watched Notts County v Chesterfield Don’t usually watch football.When I lived in Loughborough it was easier to go to Nottingham The parking was more convenient for both Forest and county..

Good game .Went to penalties ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Afternoon all , Been messing in the garden all morning , cutting the grass and putting some strawberry plans into pots . Now watching Giro ( it’s ok no spoilers ) .
Going to our sailing club prize giving this evening, I think mrs exlaser will need a bag to bring her trophies home in as she was the big winner last year 😀. Don’t think I have much ( maybe a couple of seconds or thirds ) but I am not bothered , I know my place 😂 . It’s should be a good good evening .

I has a Laser once, then realised that I didn't bend in the middle or weigh 40kg.
Races were abandoned before my weight was an advantage.
But my two sons have formed diverging opinions on sailing as a result
