Just been watching the first part of TdF series on Netflix. It shows the 2022 TdF as seen from inside the peloton , DS cars and team buses. Really good. Each part is 45 minutes long. I will watch the next one tomorrow night.

Getting worse......I woke at 0400.....so got up. Can't see the point lying in bed wide awake. I will likely go back in a couple of hours.

Morning. It’s going to be a warm and slightly humid week. Probably nothing compared to further south. Just me that doesn’t cope with it very well.

Better get out after my cuppa and enjoy the early freshness before it picks up.

I have risen!

Still a bit nacked from Saturdays gig so a Q day planned. The onky thing of note is a visit from the dent man who is going to tease out a little ding in the Volvo for me.

I am hungry.....as in REALLY hungry. I have no bread so thinking bacon, egg and a few chips.
I do have a selection of ready meals I could choose from.

Coooooeeee. We had heavy rain at about 4am for about 15 minutes, then it moved on. Due to the heat, we now have a thick heat haze. We might have a bit more rain today. We.do need it here. The farmers are complaining about the lack of water.

Good morning all.
It's very humid this morning, and like a lot of places, thundery showers are forecast for later this afternoon.
MrsP has to go to Chase Farm hospital pharmacy to pick up some meds to take before an upcoming procedure in a couple of weeks time, so I will drive her over there and wait for her.
The dog has been walked, and then a little bit of packing,
I will be travelling light, as we are off to Paris tomorrow, actually Versailles. We are going to visit the palace and gardens, and then on Thursday we are going to Monet's garden.
I also need to go to the bakers to pick up some stores for the Eurostar so we can have a bit of brake on the train. It leaves St.Pancras at 0701, so an early start tomorrow morning.

Good day. Going to be another hot one but cloudy at present. Went to bed at 8.30 and slept through till 3.45 which is a good seven hours. Just couldn't cope with this headache which builds through the day. It's so debilitating by around 7.00pm, I spend half the day thinking about being nackered and do nothing.

Out on the bike today. Not sure where we will go but meeting at 9.00 so I should get a shift on.

I like Paris and Versailles. We enjoyed a few long weekends there doing a lot of the touristy things....apart from the Louvre as art is wasted on me.

General milling about the house and garden day today.
We had a little bit of rain earlier, but nowhere near what they were forecasting. The gardens need it.

I remembered that I had a pack of 'part baked' cobs so I am now chomping on bacon with brown sauce butty/cob.

Right - off to Scotland for a week today
spending most of it on a small boat cruising around islands - no clear idea what to expect but sounds great

totally revised clothing choices and ditched long trousers and jumpers and just gone for shorts and a cycling jacket as it is lighter than other waterproofs (although less waterproof!)

so I will probably disappear for a while - only have phone with me and I hate trying to type on phones!
(some of you may have noticed I have enough trouble typing on a laptop !!!!)

bit I will keep an eye on things!
