Things are good, thank you. I'm a bit heavy but that apart I'm happy with life. Being a granddad is just the best thing ever. The Granddad granddaughter relationship is a rather special one.....I didn't know that till now.

Bus on demand, what a performance, Bus booked for five thirty to take us to the Unicorn club and the Over 55's Monday night social and bingo night, we get a message that the bus will arrive at six fifteen, we then get a message its been delayed, it finally turns up at twenty to Seven and we get in at ten to seven. The bus back was better, it was waiting for us when we got out and we were home by half eight. And we didn't win at Bingo.

Half eight is good, using the normal buses we can't be sure when we'll get home, and theres a good chance I'll end up pushing my Good Lady home.

Must be a bit of a slog pushing a chair any distance.

When in shops etc I always speak to the person in the chair if there is a reason to do so.

I have a friend who had a spinal accident years ago and he said it irritated him when someone spoke to his 'pusher' and not him. Fair point that I have never forgotten.

Yes its irritating when they talk to me and ignore my Good Lady, when that happens I always try and bring her into the conversation. The chair we have now we call the chunky monkey, its built like a main battle tank and doesn't weigh a lot less, its the only one we've had that copes well with Coventry's crap pavements, but two or three hours piloting that and I'm knackered.
