Yes its irritating when they talk to me and ignore my Good Lady, when that happens I always try and bring her into the conversation. The chair we have now we call the chunky monkey, its built like a main battle tank and doesn't weigh a lot less, its the only one we've had that copes well with Coventry's crap pavements, but two or three hours piloting that and I'm knackered.

MrsDs is/was very light but it never felt very stable. It did not want to go up pavements.

Must be a bit of a slog pushing a chair any distance.

When in shops etc I always speak to the person in the chair if there is a reason to do so.

I have a friend who had a spinal accident years ago and he said it irritated him when someone spoke to his 'pusher' and not him. Fair point that I have never forgotten.

There used to be a very good programme on R4 called "Does he Take Sugar." It was always interesting and brilliantly titled.

Good day. Guess? Go on. 🌞 It's small person day, she loves to be outside and I feel keeping her covered in factor 50 could be a new challenge.

My neck/head were OK yesterday and only slightly aware of it this morning. 🤞 it's heading in the right direction. I restarted my stretching exercises on Sunday, this may have helped.

We are helping #1 son with house purchase. This involved transferring a significant sum of money to him last night. Within seconds of making the transfer I got a text from the bank saying the transfer was blocked and our bank accounts locked........I couldn't even log in online. There was a number to call which I did. It then took 22 minutes of questions and discussion to get the payment cleared, account unlocked etc. Half the questions were outside of what one might call "standard" security. Some were to protect against fraud by a family member.

Have you seen pictures or details of the property?

Have you spoken to your son to confirm account details?

Where did the money your transferring come from?

Do you and your son have the same middle name? What is it? (The first born male of each generation on the father's side has had this name for 200+ years).

There was a lot more. I was very impressed. Excellent security from Santander.

I'm awake and managed a zombie walk down the stairs. I have detected daylight - it feels hot, not much else to report. Good morning all. I need tea.

Its horrible here. Really humid and hot.

Quite muggy here too. Just did the riverside trail. Couple of guys jogging. Don't know where they find the energy when it's like this. It makes me lethargic.

I might have another t shirt being delivered this morning. I need to have a sort through them all and toss a few that I don't like much and free up some space.
