Phew! Finally got MrsD sorted with a car that she likes. You wouldn't believe the hassle I've been through to get it done - arguments, hissy fits, stonewalling - you name it. In the end I said I didn't want anything to do with it, as I'd only get the blame if anything was wrong.
She's settled on this Citroen C3 Picasso 1.6 Hdi on a 13 plate.
Very economical, practical and comfy.

Is it ULEZ compliant, just in case she goes somewhere that needs it?

Not ULEZ compliant, but that makes no difference as it'll only be used locally.

Very similar engine to mine Papa Dirk, although being the 120 is ULEZ compliant.

Having said that, the last thing I woukd ever consider is driving a car in London or any large city come to that.

I’ve just finished watching the second Full Monty.I Nav t seen any comments on it ,but for me it had a bit of everything Humour Love Sadness Life in older age and sorrow.

As of the end of August you only need to come inside the M25 to be charged.

I've done ballroom dancing, and latin american, great fun, its where I met my Good Lady, I can't remember a step now, well it was 45 years ago.

As a youth I went to buy some trousers Tried a pair on told the sales person (Notice the political correctness)the trouser’s we’re rather tight.Brought me another pair to try he said they have more ballroom than Blackpool Tower 💃🕺💃🕺

Sounds like the second pair would suite me, ever since I started doing serious cycling I've had problems getting trousers that fit, right waist size and I can't get my arse and thighs in them, buy a pair with arse and thigh room and they are to big in the waist and often to long in the leg.

Back in the day I would drive all round Europe including the big cities. You couldn't pay me enough to do it now.
