Anyone else got a wife/hubby/partner who seems to innately know when you're just getting down to doing something and suddenly need your help?

Literally just got my bike out to take some measurements to transfer onto my wattbike, when she suddenly needs help to reach some corners she can't get to, painting the bathroom (for the record, she decided she wanted to do it, it's not urgent)
So, put everything down, go and do what needs doing, come back, and it's raining so now I'm stymied!

Of course! that is the natural state of affairs in my experience ;)

Plus, whatever they need help with is MUCH more urgent that whatever you are doing ;)

Personally, I prefer Sheringham. A better variety of good shops, including two excellent independent bakeries, and caffs. :okay:

My sister is the same, never had a dog after the first we had as kids. I've had several.

It's hard when they go, but I balance that against the happy life I try to give them.

Bruce, the dog in my avatar, is a rescue we've had 8 years, I like to think we've done the right thing with him.
No idea of his birthday, so he has an official one, like monarchs on 1st July every year

When you adopt an ex racing Grey here you get a stack of paperwork regarding its parentage, racing history and date of birth.
Our Dash celebrated her sixth birthday on 15 June.
