Back from Cromer.About 50 years since I’ve been there.Hardly recognised the place

It was heaving with people who could age qualify for this thread and then some. Called into the hotel du Paris Expected Miss Marple to appear

Anyone else got a wife/hubby/partner who seems to innately know when you're just getting down to doing something and suddenly need your help?

Literally just got my bike out to take some measurements to transfer onto my wattbike, when she suddenly needs help to reach some corners she can't get to, painting the bathroom (for the record, she decided she wanted to do it, it's not urgent)
So, put everything down, go and do what needs doing, come back, and it's raining so now I'm stymied!

Of course! that is the natural state of affairs in my experience

Plus, whatever they need help with is MUCH more urgent that whatever you are doing

My parcels from Amazon and eBay arrived. I was hoping that Mr WD would be outside doing something so that I could sneak them in and he wouldn't be any the wiser. Of course its raining, so he was in the house. GRRRR

Nope. I've been a good girl and not bought any jeans. However I fear I have spent more money on crafting supplies than I did on said jeans.

Talking about gooseberries, when we had the ducks, we let them loose in the orchard. They decimated the gooseberry bushes to the point that every single gooseberry was gone.

Personally, I prefer Sheringham. A better variety of good shops, including two excellent independent bakeries, and caffs.

Back from Caernarfon and what a joy, what a pleasure, what a welcome we get back from Molly when we walked into our daughter's house.
You can't beat that.

Holiday update . 😀 A small amount of agro today . But I am happy as it was between mrs exlaser , her mum and our daughter. I am always happy as long as it doesn’t involve me 😂😀.
Only two more days to go .

My sister is the same, never had a dog after the first we had as kids. I've had several.

It's hard when they go, but I balance that against the happy life I try to give them.

Bruce, the dog in my avatar, is a rescue we've had 8 years, I like to think we've done the right thing with him.
No idea of his birthday, so he has an official one, like monarchs on 1st July every year

When you adopt an ex racing Grey here you get a stack of paperwork regarding its parentage, racing history and date of birth.
Our Dash celebrated her sixth birthday on 15 June.
