Hello. Thanks for all the birthday wishes. We went to see the David Hockney exhibition today at the Lightroom, Kings Cross. The Lightroom is an immersive exhibition space and the Hockney is of his photographs and paintings displayed as moving images on the walls. Hockney explains the thoughts and techniques he used. Very, very interesting.

We mooched around Kings Cross for several hours, watched more tennis on a big screen and ate Korean street food for lunch. Very satisfactory. Kings Cross has changed out of all recognition, my memory is of a dangerous, dark area renowned for drugs and prostitution. No!! Great place to visit now.

On the train home. Full but very quiet. 👍

Set up for tonight's gig. Will be snug, but I'm being paid in Guinness and food so I'm sure I'll manage.

Just booked Oppenheimer at local cinema for Aug 4.

Looks really good - a long watch at 3 hours!

That's reminded me.
It's Fission Chips tomorrow. :hungry::okay:

I'm not a footballist and their theatrics annoy me, rolling on the ground clutching the imaginary stump of their severed leg, yet 39 seconds later they're runing around like nothing happened. It's nothing more than blatant fraud.

When I'm PM - which must surely be any day now - I'll sort it. Any footballist severely injured enough to be rolling on the ground clutching at body parts gets a 28 day medical suspension from playing and training to allow them to properly recuperate. You can guarantee we'll see a 95% reduction in the BAFTA winning acting at being hurt.

Remember. A vote for Drago is a vote for common sense!
You missed the "No play, No pay" rule!

Interesting day today, woke up without a headache which was a good start since I'd been on the wattbike yesterday which usually sets it off.

Then got under the car to put a heatshield over the starter as I had problems starting it when it was hot (later noticed it said it needs a 2" gap - which if it had that it wouldn't need the heat shield in the first place - but I'm not taking it off!)

Then played flick on the TV between the cricket and the TdF, and finally sat and watched (because swmbo was watching) some z list celebrity on
"who do you think you are" get emotional about Wrexham!
I think the day peaked with the cricket and TdF.

Off for a snooze now as I'm off out on the real bike tomorrow.
Night everyone.

Good morning. It's blowing a gale here, wasn't expecting that but the forecast is good........windy but good. I'm heading out for a ride with one of the club's young guns today. Pray for me.

Interesting how change impacts us. I try to drink at least 2-3 litres of water a day. Travel always leaves me dehydrated and change of routine disrupts the chances to drink. Woke at 3.00am feeling badly dehydrated and spent the last two hours emptying a local reservoir.

Hopefully I can doze off now...........
