That's fine if youre happy, but you're missing the point of my gripe - I wasnt moaning anout Dacias. I was complaining that folk buy a Dacia because they want inexpensive, not because they want to race round the landscape like Roger Ramjet on acid. You want to go fast then get a fast car - I don't think the driver had got the memo.
They very far removed from my Peugeot as it goes, in sophistication, economy, running costs, safety, ride and finish. Having looked at three Dacias, each of less than a year old and each with faults (one very significantly faulty with the rear footwells both full of water), I decided the 29,000 mile Pug was the much better made, better driving, less expensive to run option.
If other people are happy to overlook all that in pursuit of cheap then all power to them, but I'm not that sort of buyer.
